Maputo city's Rehabilitation of the Stormwater Drainage System

The consultancy is developed in two phases:

• Feasibility study for stormwater drainage in the northeast of Maputo city and its engineering projects;
• Construction Supervision of the rehabilitation works of the stormwater drainage system.

The works included the following activities:

• Comparative analysis of alternative technical solutions for the stormwater drainage system in the north of Maputo (between Av. Júlio Nyerere and Costa);
• Elaboration of the drainage final design for the area included in the study;
• Preparation of the Assessment and Environmental Management Plan for Environmental Impact;
• Supervision of the construction works of the drainage system rehabilitation, including analysis and design review, tests and commissioning.
