CUF Hospital - Oporto

This new unit will be located in Oporto, and is expected to be fully operational in the 2^ndsemester of 2009.

The hospital unit will have a capacity for 150 beds, of these 30 of medical and surgical maternity and 10 in the intensive care unit with all specialties. The urgency services are destined for adults, children (Paediatrics) and Obstetrics.

The Hospital is equipped with eight surgical blocks and relevant recovery rooms and an ambulatory surgery unit. The area for external consultations foresees 50 cabinets for, o­ncology and other services in the areas of Imagery, Laboratory of Clinical Pathology, Pathological Anatomy, Dialysis, Physical Medicine, Laundry and Pharmacy.

The hospital has an area of 31 000 square meters, distributed by eight floors of which six above ground. The underground floors are used for parking and have a capacity of 500 places.
